Organization overview in WEGly

How it works

Navigate to Property in the sidebar. Here you will see all units of your HOA.

Overview

At the top of the page you will see a summary:

  • Number of active units
  • Total MEA (co-ownership shares), e.g. "165.00 / 1000.00 MEA"
  • Notice of units without an assigned owner

The tabs filter by unit type: Apartment, Garage, Parking space (and others).

Creating a new unit

  1. Click Create unit.
  2. Fill in the form:
    • Name: e.g. "1st floor-01" or "Apartment 3"
    • Type: Apartment, Garage, Parking space, or Commercial
    • Floor: e.g. "1st floor" or "Basement"
    • Area: in m2 (e.g. 65.5)
    • MEA: Co-ownership share per the declaration of division (e.g. 80.0000)
  3. Click Save.

Editing a unit

Click Edit unit next to the desired unit. Change the fields and click Save.

Activating or deactivating a unit

Newly created units may initially be inactive. Click Activate to put a unit into active use. Active units are included in votes and levy calculations.

Assigning an owner to a unit

Click Owner next to the desired unit. Select a member from the list and confirm. For more on inviting members, see Managing owners.

Deleting a unit

Click Delete unit. The unit is permanently removed. Make sure there are no active assignments or votes linked to this unit.

Tips

  • MEA values must match the declaration of division exactly. They form the basis for MEA-weighted votes.
  • Create all units first before inviting members. This allows you to assign units directly during the invitation.
  • Units without an assigned owner are shown separately in the property overview.

Frequently asked questions

Can multiple owners be assigned to one unit? Yes. For co-ownership (e.g. an estate community) you can assign multiple owners to a unit. Voting weight is divided accordingly.
