This article explains how to configure email notifications in WEGly.

How it works
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar. Click the Notifications tab.
Set email frequency
Choose one of the 3 options:
- Daily summary: One email per day with all updates (at 9:00 AM). This is the default setting.
- Immediately: You receive an email as soon as each new event occurs.
- Off: You receive no email notifications.
Click the desired option to change the setting.
Choose notification types
Under Notification types, you control which events trigger an email. Each type has its own toggle.
Content:
- New post: When a new post appears on the bulletin board
- New comment: When someone comments on a post
- Post pinned: When a post is pinned
- Document uploaded: When new documents are added
Tasks:
- Task assigned: When a task is assigned to you
- Task due: Shortly before a task deadline expires
Votes:
- Vote started: When a new online vote begins
- Vote closed: When a vote is completed
Finances:
- Cash book entry: When new transactions are recorded in the cash book
Members:
- New member: When a new member joins the HOA
Meetings:
- Minutes published: When new minutes are published
- New resolution: When a new resolution is recorded
Enable or disable individual types
Click the toggle next to a notification type to enable or disable it. Changes are saved automatically.
Tips
- The Daily summary is the best option for most members. It prevents your inbox from being flooded with individual emails.
- If you are active on the advisory board, Immediately is recommended for tasks and votes.
- Emails are sent to the email address you used to register.
